A little preparation can make a pediatric visit more useful. Bring relevant reports and prescriptions, note when symptoms started, and write down the questions you most want answered.
Useful information to bring
- Current medicines and doses
- Previous test reports or discharge summaries
- Vaccination and growth records
- A brief symptom timeline
- Any photos or videos of symptoms that are not always present
This is general information only. If your child has severe or rapidly worsening symptoms, seek urgent medical assessment rather than waiting for a routine appointment.
